A Note from John... Hey gang, I was honored to hear that many of the Sky-Dog Comics creators, including myself, have been nominated for the Harvey Awards for our work on Buzzboy and other comics! Please let me say personally, this is a great honor, and quite humbling, to be nominated in the same categories as some really, really, talented creators-- people whom I deem as far superior as writers, cartoonists, etc. I am positive that many across the internet will offer up a collective "What Th--?" about us getting the recognition we are getting, and I join them in that-- but i really do appreciate those that may have thrown their support our way. To be nominated is as great an honor as I could wish for, and I encourage you to vote for my fellow Buzzboy nominees, Rich Faber (Best Inker), Thom Zahler (best letterer, cartoonist), and Frank Cho (best Cover artist). Also, best of luck to Jeff Kinney, Mike Manley, Jimmy Gownley, Jason Kruse, and everyone else! Best of luck to my fellow nominees, and c'mon, give Grant Morrison a break, and vote for him for best writer-- he needs (and deserves) the recognition! best, |
