Guys- Episode three…..fantastic! What DO you do all day?! You mentioned you spend alot of time working while listening to the radio, music, or tv. Got a good audio stimulant suggestion for you….
The Ghettomation Podcast. Yup. I’m a co-host. Self serving suggestion, I know. I think you’ll dig it. Really. DIY animators/cartoonists shooting the breeze. We talk about the creative process in general too. You dont have to be an animator to enjoy it. Perfect for listening while you draw.
Let me know what you think: http://www.ghettomation.net
Keep up the good work. I’m telling folks about the Diner.
Hey, Jim, thanks for the nice note(s)! We’ll have to check your p-cast out too! Thanks for the link! We also appreciate your review on iTunes. Keep up the great work, and thanks again for the support!
Best,
Rich
I’ve been meaning to leave you guys a comment since I heard the beckoning for feedback on your podcast. The podcast is great.
I actually heard about it when I called Joe at Blue Hen comics to ask him if he knew any local cartoonists because I’m new to the area and am trying to reach out to the comics community. He suggested I check it out and I’ve been listening ever since. Then I saw John’s rendition of Joe on his in the Buzz Boy comic as Captain Blue Hen. When I spoke with him on the phone I had no idea he looked like that.
You guys are doing a great thing. The Comic Book Diner is an valuable resource for cartoonists, comic book artists, and nerds of all shapes and colors. The way you guys poke fun at being at a “diner” notwithstanding, it really is like sitting at a table with some industry veterans. It’s been great to listen while I draw or do laundry. I hope it will continue for months and years to come. Thank you for your effort.
Hi
My name is Glenda Robert and my project was accepted on Kickstarter. I’m asking that you please back my project. This project will keep a culture alive as well as the artists who create bounce music. This is the only award of its kind to this new genre of music. Please read my profile and please donate. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. I sent a link to the 1st Bounce Music Awards Show. We did it with little funding. Due to Hurricane Katrina many artists are no longer local. Below are the links to all the national coverage Bounce Music has reached. Please help me help my city and the artists by keeping our culture alive.
